Fuck. Time just flies doesn’t it?

It doesn’t seem like 5 minutes since I was getting ready to party like it was 1999. Because it was.

It’s been a fucking mental year all round really. One of those years where I look back and think – did that happen this year? And then realise that particular thing happened like 4 years ago and I just feel old.

But yeah, porn wise it’s had it’s ups and downs.

The ups – still plenty of new talent entering the biz, even if some of that talent turn out to be fucking crazy and scare me out of joining the biz in a more permanent way. Thank fuck actually, think that particular incident did me a big favour.

And of course, some of it has been shitty – the continuing abundance of free porn is slowly but 100% surely killing the biz.

To the point now where bigger sites are closing or being bought out by mega-corporations – just do a search for ‘Manwin’ if you’re interested. They are the guys who own pretty much every porn tube site out there and forcing small time porn fans like me to pack up and fuck off.

Anyway, where was I?

Oh yeah, so tonight – New Years Eve, whatever you’re doing – stay safe.

It may be one of the most difficult posts to write each year, but it’s also the most fun. Yep, it’s time once more to decide who wins the coveted title (in my book anyway) of British Pornstar of the Year for 2011.

It’s been a tough year all round for the adult business, with models leaving, photographers struggling and websites closing.

Thankfully, the big names are still going strong and the better sites continue to pump out the best content and buck the recession. As you might expect I guess.
